Introduction

The Task 1 module will help you become familiar with this tutorial and with the Powerpay application in general.

Let's start by taking a look at the top of this screen. The blue menu bar will always contain links you can click to go directly to the Welcome! page or to reveal menus of topics for the different learning modules, or Tasks. Try rolling your mouse over the menu heading "Task 1 - Overview" on the blue bar to see the menu expand down from that module title.

When you click on any of the menu headings, or the topic names within a menu, you'll jump directly to the first page of that topic. Think of the menus as a Table of Contents in a book.

At the bottom right corner, and under the blue menu bar, you will see Back and Next links at the right-hand side. Use these to move through the pages of each topic. Think of the Back and Next links as turning the individual pages of a book.

If you're just starting this tutorial, click one of the Next links now to to start learning about Powerpay. If you're returning to the tutorial to refer back to a specific topic, choose one of the items listed in the menu to go directly to that topic.
